Welcome to Ropehaven Jewellery

Hello! I'm Kat and I am based in South Cornwall, I live beside the sea and I am inspired by the beauty of our rugged coastline and wild countryside

I live with my husband, two grown up daughers, Ted, our crazy cockapoo

When I'm not in my studio creating I enjoy long coastal hikes, magical woodland walks, beachcombing and kayaking, and a spot of photography. Ropehaven Cliffs is a local, unspoilt nature reserve close to my home where I spend a lot of my spare time relaxing and exploring with Ted, and it is the inspiration for the name for my business

I have always had a love of jewellery and all things shiny. I have been creative for as long as I can remember! I first started making my own jewellery back in 2015 as I was frustrated that I couldn't find jewellery to fit my tiny fingers and wrists, and my business has gradually evolved over the years.

I make unique jewellery in small batches, my favourite metal to use is sterling silver. I love to work with gemstones and sea glass which I collect on my many beach walks. Working with silver means I often have a lot of 'spare' leftover pieces which I love to recycle; many of my creations feature granulation, chunky nuggets and tactile pebbles, these are all formed by melting down the silver making them an eco friendly, zero waste choice. As well as silversmithing, I enjoy metal stamping and love to experiment using new techniques. I hope you'll find something here to treasure!
